A Brand Built on Creativity, Trust, Resilience, and the Balance of it all.
My story starts similar to most in my generation. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Journalism, a Master of Science in Strategic Communications and then spent the better part of 10 years gaining more recognition and titles as I further developing my skills in various roles across the marketing and communications sector.
But, before all the credentials, there are two ways I typically describe myself when meeting someone new: an accidental jack of all trades (having successfully learned acrylic painting, vinyl t-shirt designing, baking cinnamon rolls from scratch, and how to be the perfect at home barista); and, a lover of "fun facts" (even if they aren't always the most fun).
One fact in particular is that as of Q2 of 2026 there were over 600,000 black women unemployed or underemployed in the United States despite being one of the most educated demographics!
This fact alone led me to pivot my years of experience more personal, more protected, more specialized, and more suited for where I saw my future going. Now I am able to bring all of my brand and digital strategist skills I’ve learned along the way to the success of your brand.

Equil93: More Than A Name
Equil93, or E93 for short, was a brand six years in the making. With various iterations of naming conventions, word plays, and phrases that were dear to the heart, nothing truly felt like it encompassed what this brand stood for, until 2026. I knew I wanted this business to stand out from others in the industry yet still represent the essence of who I was and what I brought to the table.
I am a true millennial who will always value peace, rest, health and, you guessed it balance over everything. Especially in business.! I wear my 90s' baby badge with pride as a daughter of 1993. I also birth a son on 9/30, making him a libra (the sign of balance). And the cherry on top was that I was still able to make a play on words by shortening equilibrium to "equil," thus Equil93 was born.
